2 Types of RED Signs: STOP and YIELD

There are difference between STOP sign and YIELD sign; although the color sign is same which is RED.

Yield sign and stop sign both mean yield right of way, although the stop is a bit more powerful in which it requires a full stop and the yield just a slow down and observe & yield.

The meaning of Yield sign:

“Yield” means let other road users go first.
It’s not just other cars. Don’t forget about bicycles and pedestrians.
Unlike with stop sign, drivers aren’t required to come to a complete stop at a yield sign and may proceed without stopping -- provided that it is safe to do so.
Vehicles on the roundabout (coming from the left) have priority over those entering it, who are faced with a Yield sign.

The meaning of Stop sign:

A stop sign is a regulatory sign - a traffic control device that warns drivers to slow down and prepare to stop.
It’s used when there are no other cars around, or at the end of a line of traffic.
Drivers must stop at the stop line, crosswalk, or intersection, whichever they encounter first.
The driver must yield the right-of-way to pedestrians and approaching vehicles before proceeding. The driver should only proceed when it's safe to do so.
