Behind-The-Wheel Training

Your permit becomes valid for driving with a guardian only after certified behind-the-wheel training. DMV rules require 6 hours total, in three 2-hour sessions arranged on your schedule. We recommend booking the first soon after you get your permit, the second near month three, and the last close to your road test, allowing room for questions as you go.
